There's plenty of shops in Richmond that sell hooning mods and accessories. So the "worst in show" should be escorted to such a shop as part of the meet event. He then has to buy something as penance even if it's so small as a LED upgrade or air freshener from the shops. That could make it an educational event too for those who haven't visited every shop yet. That way, more of all the meet's attendees will at least have looked at all the pages even though they aren't all speaking from the same page.
A place to eat is good too.

A stop at the narrow walkbridge is also good for people to stretch their legs. I remember going there and then doing the marine way drive in west vancouver afterwards. But I am from seattle and probably did things backwards with the drive last. I was tourist and shopper first, so the driving from the bridge and marine way towards home ended up being last.
Marine can get cars on it later in the day and when I was on it there were lots of slow moving cars. It was still scenic with the curves though, so I enjoyed the short drive. I will be back (non arnold squeaky high pitch weeb voice).

Usually some sort of chat type tool works because of immediate turnaround time on feedback. One never knows how many show up. For example, with the previous washington meet, some of the people who were thought would show up didn't. Someone who was unanticipated showed up since he read the thread and depended on the info there instead of the private chattool which he never signed up for access..
It depends too what people like to do. If you read the other past /o/ meet threads from archives, you see that some like to hoon some on the road and will go fast because they already know the road. Some like to show up with road cameras and we even had someone with a roof mounted camera to film the trip.

A meeting place is boring if one waits for stragglers, but the problem is gone if it has a breakfast eatery for ultra early arrivals, a store to pick up supplies, and a gas station to top off. The recent Washington meet had all three at the same spot and plenty of parking.
Some can be in the parking lot, while those that arrived extra early finish their breakfast, and others who simply arrived early found out who had what, and went to the store to pick up some other things.
The group stopped at an impromptu point in the park drive, and because we did, OTHER people soon parked or double parked at the same spot. I guess people need a someone to show them the way or they just like examples that it is okay to park there in an unmarked area to explore or get pictures.

Awww, way too soon. Usually for a first time meet, people even try to negotiate a good time. If it is a long drive with an event, then it could be a most of day thing. Just look at the other archived meets in various usa states. You see they all have different ways ot setting the date, but usually the most reliable are those who sign up for the chats to work out a good time. Then it gets posted on the thread for more people to decide to join in or not. Sometimes, the people in the thread get the date moved.
What would be cool is if there were any auto-related industries in the area that would offer a tour. Then the meet group would go on a group tour. Normally a single person wouldn't be able to tour so that's where a Meet group would shine.
