I watched wangan a year or so ago, I'll check out the second one. I saw a clip of a movie that I'm trying to find but can't remember the title, in the scene there was a guy in an S15 and he does a skid to knock of a soda can to try and get a girls number. I think it was called "motoworks"? Can't find it anywhere.

its so hard to recommend normie casual stuff like we all started on and not push you towards total degenerate moeshit. most people arent really comfortable watching it for a while until their self respect is completely gone. if you liked initial d, watch bari bari densetsu. you might like wangan midnight, its pretty boring though. try bakuon, its pretty moe though. i cant personally recommend ex-driver or gunsmith cats anime, but the GSC manga is godlike. theres lots of shows with occasional car or bike shots (dimension w, triage x, durarara), but not a lot that are really focused on the technical details. if you're into guns or mil its a lot easier to recommend a bunch of otaku shows.
