Some fucking Mexican didn't know what a yield sign ment so he cut in front of me in a traffic circle. I had to lock the brakes and throw it sideways to not T bone him. Luckily the only thing that hit was our mirrors. My housing is fine, the motor for adjustment still works, just the glass is fucked up. Is it a difficult fix?

Nope, very easy. Search online or go to your local pick n pull junkyard to grab a replacement mirror, then just pop the old one out and replace it.

IF bought new from honda, 100-200 bucks. If grabbed from junkyard 30-50 bucks. Its a pretty easy install, as long as youre sure the motor and stuff is fine

I have the auto 2wd, it handles well, but due to its 4 speed transmission, it could be happier with an extra gear like the manual, but it will sit at 75 for a few hours perfectly fine

Yeah the motor is all good from what I can tell. Still moves the mirror without a problem. Just the glass was broken so that a plus I guess. Still sucks though.

If you have the cash, I'd grab a gen 2, so a 2002 -2006(?), they look much better imo, and don't have the meh transmission of gen 1
