A pit maneuver requires hiring the back end of the car, thus damaging the car. Not hard to make the connection to a slower get away. Is it really this hard to comprehend? Of course a lot of people can drive away but your car is usually broken and backwards.

None of you know what a PIT maneuver is actually for. It is intended to spin the car to face the opposite direction, slowing it in the process so then another pursuing officer can pin it from the front while the another moves in behind to box it in.
