How bad of an idea is it to buy an RX7 FB or FC as a first car?
These are pretty much just project cars for the experienced at this point right?

Can you wrench? Can you diagnose a car without obd1 or 2? What do you do if it won't start and you need to be somewhere? Do you have a specialty rotary shop? Can you afford the shit mpg?

don't buy an RX7 if you can't take good care of it. And taking care of RX7's takes more than "not crashing it into a tree".
rotaries are piss easy to rebuild
an n/a FC is actually reliable if you don't flood it or don't let it warm
the FB has a carbed 12a, it has less aftermakret than a 13b and >lol carbs
