I do it all the time to stay sharp. I dont think its bad unless youre downshifting too early and your RPM shoots up. I usually wait till it drops pretty low so im not shifting the cars weight or drawing too much attention

There's really no point in heel toeing when hitting the brakes lightly anyway? It's pretty easy to just blip the throttle a little when you have the brake pedal pushed in all the way.
