Insights were built to be efficient without compromise. They were the best at that until the 3rd gen Prius came around, so basically a decade. Pretty respectable. Not something I'd drive though.

K20 insight is basically a newer CRX. 200+ hp insight sounds pretty fun to me. They weigh like 1800 lbs WITH the hybrid drivetrains, probably weighs even less with a K20
