Alright, /o/ I need your help. I have a valve/cam that has been making angry clicking noises while the engine is running at certain speeds or under load, I suspect that something may have partially blocked the oil passage way to it. I want to know which oil additive should I use to help my engine out so I don't have to tear it apart.

I've already checked an the is plenty of oil in the engine.

Sugar atomizes at engine temperature and becomes a mild abrasive that will clean out engine grime and melt away once the engine is turned off.

You can try a solvent like seafoam. Marvel Mystery Oil or a motor flush.
>>
just use washing powder

Diesel. Only for a few min though

mileage?
is it your valves or your fuel injectors

How about fix it properly? It's never as simple as "a blocked oil passage". Valves need to be adjusted or you've got a fucked lifter or something else. Don't be a poorfag.

Post an actual under-hood picture or there is nothing we can do.

Sorry for the delay, I'm a third shifter and I was asleep.

That's what I figured.

143300 miles.
Valves, the clicking is coming from the cylinder one's exhaust side. Pic related.

Sounds like the exhaust valve isn't completely closing or something may be loose.

Some things need you to open it up as that one poster said to do. As for the oil that has the most cleaning detergents in it, that is Pennzoil's Platinum ULTRA synthetic oil. It's got a lot more detergent than their regular platinum synthetic oil.

It may just need an adjustment or a new nut.

That clicking noise could be anything. Why don't you get it diagnosed by a good mechanic?

UPDATE!

The car has been sidelined after stalling on the highway and taking some coaxing to go again.

It will be limped over to a trusted mechanic on Friday when I get paid.
>Also adding more pressure to finding a replacement.
