Posts like these remind you that nobody on this board has any understanding of racing at all.
That corvette is not 50k by any stretch of the imagination regardless of how much less expensive it's road going counterpart is than the ford GT.
The GT is the underdog in all this being an unproven car while the C7.r has years of trail and error under its belt.
In an earlier GTLM practice the ford had the fastest lap of the evening.
In GTLM performing significantly outside of the standards will earn you nothing more than a ballast penalty, so why show off all you have when best case scenario you'll get added weight, (both the GT and the c7.r have gotten a 22lbs ballast penalty allready.
Racing is so much more complicated than who did the best this day here. I think ford is the underdog in the race but they will give Chevrolet a run for their money. May even win.
