Nigga, you just loop it around your belt loop and throw them in a pocket. My lanyard has a little clip at the end so I can remove my keys without taking it off the belt loop. It's not that complicated. I like carabiners too, I just prefer to have my keys in my pocket rather than dangling next to my crotch
