I have an acquaintance who is willing to let me hoon in his 1991 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4 garage queen.
The catch is that I have to find a mechanic in Connecticut willing to swap the transmission for him. he has all the parts but mechanics keep refusing to touch the car.
Can /o/ help? The guy is trying to prove me wrong about them being the world's prettiest lawn ornaments.

The car in question is bone stock. the guy bought it brand new, and it's been his mid-life crisis garage queen ever since. Never daily driven, only taken out on the weekends when the weather is nice.
The replacement transmission is a brand new OEM replacement unit he imported from Japan.
Some boomers have Corvettes as their garage queens. This one just chose a super high-tech Japanese sports car.
