Chevy Lumina's and 5th gen Monte Carlos.
Growing up, my mother had a Monte Carlo Z34. Lots of fun times. I nostalgia hard on these beluga whale-looking fuckers.

I also nostalgia hard over 60's and 70's VW Beetles.
My Dad used to take me to a bunch of classic VW shows as a kid. At age 4, my grandmother showed me the first Herbie the love bug movie and I fell in love with the Beetle from it. My dad toook me to the shows ford bonding sessions and encouraged my love of bugs, no matter how much he preferred American cars.
When I was 7 or 8, he arranged for a work acquaintance of his, who often went to said shows, to give me a ride in his 1971 Beetle. Looked a lot like pic related.
A lot of my happiest childhood memories revolved around old Bugs.

Ford Escort wagons. My mom drove one most of my life, my uncle drove one, and my dad had another one like pic related that barely ran and sat in my driveway when I was a kid. I would sit in and pretend to drive it and listen to the radio. I want an escort wagon so bad now, the hard part is finding a clean one without rust here in ohio.

It was my dad's shitbox. learned how to drive manual in it at 15 with my permit and I remember vividly how shit I was until I got good and those satisfying feels. It was the first ever car that gave me freedom to go places when I was 16 with my license. It gave me my first ever times hanging out with friends on weekends to show them my sicc heel toe skills. Had so much fun skidding through snow and ice in it and sneaking out late at night to have joy rides with my buddies. then during school days I'd sneak out of classes to grab lunch and go sight seeing. But it all ended when I first raced a ricer civic and blew the engine (did win btw).
man I miss that car so much, to me she's like the girlfriend who hates anal but does it with you anyways cause she loves you and this car was like that. she never gave up until then.

Both of my parents owned these from around when I was born until my dad's AC went out and wasn't worth keeping, and my mom's dropped a valve seat. Whenever I see one I feel like I should jump in the backseat and buckle up for a ride. Then sadness that those times are gone.
