I know how to shift. It has 206,000 miles on it and me doing fast shifts into 2nd and 3rd for the last 35k hasn't helped. Every winter I'd power shift it on the snow too because it would do hectic awd skids.
The synchronizers are fucked. I have to take like 3 seconds or rev match to make it into second gear without a harsh crunch. 3rd gear seems to randomly grind without reason.

Car computer prevents you if rpm is too far out of range since it is one of the modern "transmission by wire" and "steering by wire" cars. These kinds of transmissions have automated clutches.
