To start off, was about to sell my beater, then commuting I didnt get the width of the car QUITE right and pulled the passenger side on a building corner bending some door panels. Contemplating repair and resell prices, felt like killing myself afterwards anyway.

Shortly after I got my liscence I rear ended a CRV in the rain. I glanced up at the light after changing lanes and saw green, but that was the light just up ahead, and expected the car at the actual red light to get moving, and then I looked down for a bit to change the wiper speed. I looked, realized I was too close, locked the brakes, and slid into the back at ~10 mph. If I hadn't braked too hard my steering would have been effective enough to avoid them, or if I had seen the correct light. Damn I felt like an idiot.

Was too busy observing traffic already on the roundabout trying to see if I would need to stop or not, to notice that there was a van already waiting at the roundabout.
Drove into the back of him, caused zero damage to my own car, but will cost me thousands in the future on increased insurance premiums.

Slid into a deep ditch in an ice storm. It was in my $600 beater on bald tires so it was my fault for going so fast on such a shitty day. bent the fender in, and twisted the wheel out, and it is back up and running after $80 in junkyard parts and a little work on the fender with my angle grinder so the door would open.
I also hit a mirror of a parked f150 in my silverado. Didnt do shit to their mirror but cracked my mirror's plastic

Had my Mazda 3 2008 destroyed due to me being so fucking depressed snd suicidal that my attention was off the road. I was trying to squeeze in the road from a left turn since the guy was too far in my lane and then a teenage girl slammed into my passenger side. I thought I had enough time.
Since there were no injuries they could leave without the cops having to see it and since I got hit on a left turn it's automatically my fault which is fine.
Paying for a brand new car since my insurance won't cover shit.

Sold my skyline to a guy who was flying over to new zealand from oz to live and a week before he arrived i was the victim of road rage, a guy in a ute rammed the side of the car ruining the 2 passenger side doors, my younger bur bigger brother was with me and we smashed the fuck out of his ford courier with a tyre iron and a breaker bar, he locked himself in the ute so we smashed his windows out but never touched him, it was quite funny in the end seein a mid 30s "tough guy" crying and begging to a 17 and 20 year old lel he thought we were gona kill him hahaha

Removed my front bumper to do some front end maintenance. Thought I screwed it back on correctly but it turns out I pinned the front portion of my skid plate UNDERNEATH the rear portion. This effectively created a duct for air to get sucked in to underneath my car and, at about 80mph, caused the screws to give and snap both pieces of plastic in two.

I had a beater ford escort. Floated it across a huge puddle when we had a bit of flooding. Didn't give a shit about since it was leaking oil. The starter went out and some electronics were getting fucky. Sold it to some guy on craigslist for $800 (bought it for $500) by popping the clutch to start it haha. He just wanted it for the transmission for some weird reason. Anyways, I might be hard on my cars, but I never straight out murdered it....

Slid into the wrong corner and caught a guy's driveway, flipped and totaled a borrowed car. Me and the lender are even after 2700 USD for the car and 3500 for a lawyer. Chalk up that with 800-ish legal fees..

As soon as it happened I instantly weighed my options:
1. Stick around, get breathilyzed, go to jail, end up fucked forever and never get a decent job
Or
2. Leave the scene, potentially never hear a word about it, and get away forever, fix car with money
I did end up leaving my plate at the scene, and got tickets. I got leaving the scene no personal injury, and reckless. There turned out to be someone in the car but my insurance is handling it since I didn't get a dui. Now all I have to do is pay for the damage whatever the insurance won't cover on the other people's cars and finish fixing my shitbox.
Don't drive dronk. It's not worth it my friends. I ain't blaming the liquor, but your better of being straight up all of the time. This could have all been avoided.
