I just now finally figured out what that sign is depicting. I've known the meaning obviously, but the image never made sense. I always saw the thick black lines as lanes and the dotted line as a third lane that was ending and dotted for some reason. Only now do the thick black lines appear as the shoulder, and the empty space as the lanes. God damn this is like the vase/faces image. Either that, or I'm retarded.
