The more important question is what doesn't.

The electrical clips break, the driveshaft shits itself, the injectors clog up on the early models, you have to do a 2hour job removing the intake manifold and all electrical connections to access 90% of the engine. The wiring harnesses are encased in hard plastic making them impossible to flex and the EGR tubes get in the way of the exhaust cams which have rubber seals that fail overtime ensuring a guaranteed VCG replacement. A mk3 supra, 240sx, e36/46, Starion, or whatever else could eat up just as much of your money and be 3 times simpler to work on.
