Getting my rear diff control arm spacer in tomorrow. Will put the driveshaft back in line after I did my lift. Mostly I was just a bit worried about the stress on the upper balljoint.

Put new struts for the rear window on my hardtop in yesterday too.

I've kinda run out of things to fix or maintain at this point. I might clean out the diff breather tube and change the gear oil but I can't honestly think of anything else that needs doing right now, well other than some paint stuff but that has to wait.

Flushed the brakes last weekend
Tracked down the radiator hose leak before that and flushed radiator
Scrubbed out the entire EGR system, EGR valve and replaced EGR solenoid
Fixed the AC (charged+coolant switch+controller)
Painted the wipers
Prepped/painted/attached steel bumper, and made adapter cable for new turn signals without eating into the harness
Ran wiring stuff for offroad lights, loomed and installed and out of the way
New soundsystem
Cleaned the engine bay
Changed the oil
New plugs
New O2 sensor
Detailed the outside and inside
Lift+alignment (paid for the alignment)
New wheels and tires and replaced a couple snapped lug studs (paid to have tires mounted and balanced)
Replaced busted soft top with hard top and brackets

dude try and find a place locally that will powder coat it black or something.
>>
>>15152288
my usual shop here, has a powder coating machine and since im loyal af to the shop they'll probably coat it for free, its shame though cause its such a nice gloss paintjob on the thing, very smooth.

>>15152246
dude i wish i could get half that stuff done, its little things here and there that piss me off the most and its either i dont have much time to do it properly (since im super anal about perfection)
or lack of funds to get parts. gotta prioritize desu.

Well, that's like the last few months of stuff I've done. I forgot to add a few things though, like swapping one of the interior door panels with a pristine junkyard one, making a harness adapter for the rear defroster in the hard top and getting an OEM switch for it out of the junkyard, new air filter, fixed my driver side window regulator, all new door handles because the old ones were faded as hell, etc.

This is the sort of list you get after neglecting anything but the bare minimum maintenance for years.

It's why it's so weird to be running out of things to do. Distributor and coil pack are good because I replaced them a few years ago. Transmission is fine because I replaced the clutch a few years ago and flushed it. Brakes and rotors are fine. Timing belt and water pump was done just 30k miles ago.

Only thing I have is a very small leak at the front cam seal, but I'd have to do the timing again if I fussed with it.
