Seems like a pretty natural rivalry to me

It could probably make a metric fuckload more power if they adjusted the cams a bit. Apparently the skyactiv engines hold the intake valve open for a good part of the compression stroke to save gas. If they got rid of that wasted stroke it could probably make much more power, at the expense of being able to run lower octanes due to fear of predetonation.

2750 for the manual. Who would buy an automatic version of either car ?
>>15145935
that's crank hp m8
>>15146066
what do you think a tune does on a VVT car?
>>15146077
No it ain't dude, click the link. The ND has pretty small drivetrain losses. They make ~139 to the wheels stock.
>>15146108
So you really think it makes 177lbft of torque to the wheels after a tune? 200lbft at the crank? NA?
>>15146145
Is that so crazy? It's running like 14:1 compression, it's a pretty high tech engine, it's just tuned for economy

>believes this
>>15146221
well it's more than NA F1 engines made, if that answers your question
>>15146320
Source for that? I'm curious. Maybe it is crank HP or the dyno is miscalibrated
