If you could get a restored daily driver (not boomer bait like Bel-Airs, Thunderbirds and Muscle Cars), would you? Even with the amount of maintenance you would have to do?
depends on what it is
I wouldnt drive old American garbage but something like a BMW 2002 or TA22 Celica Id be all over
1960 Ford Falcon sedan with a 302 and manual trans.
Oh and a little dancing hula figure on the dash
I'd take a mint notchback foxbody in calypso green or a 240z.
>would you daily drive a car?
>except no muscle cars or anything boomers like

If it was "restored" it really wouldn't require any more maintenance then your typical shitbox.

I had the pleasure of DDing a restored 68 fastback Mustang with a 289 and manual trans that my grandfather spent a decade rebuilding before declaring that it was too loud for his taste.
It was a neat novelty for awhile, but the consistent maintenance despite everything being new, the very barebones handling and lack of amenities, the constant attention from the police and retards wanting a go, and the knowledge that I was probably a dead man if a retard in a modern car hit me took their toll. I only used it as a DD for four months or so before going back to modern BMWs.
