FF cars can't drift. You cannot counter-steer with the wheels you use to move the car forward, or else the car will immediately snap towards the direction of the counter-steer.

FWD actually can initiate a drift but can't keep it going.
The guy in a Civic uses tons of camber, rips the E-brake, has a very stiff rear suspensions and probably over inflated tires to "maintain" the drift.
Basically, he is just doing a weight transfer and trails his rear wheels.
So yeah, it may not look as awesome as RWD IMO, but that's kinda nice to see people trying new things.
