I'm not sarcastic. With high FFB force the wheel can get hot after an hour, most of wheels will cut the FFB force to not overheat. The solution is to cool it with a fan or to lower the FFB force.
9 hours straight of play are a lot, it won't be good for the bearings, too.

Honestly people do play long sessions with DFGTs but if you run really high FFB and/or have a hot environment the things don't hold up forever. A lot of hardcore players have gone through multiple DFGTs and are okay with it because they like them and are willing to spend money on something they do so much.

It´s a simple filter that doesn´t distinguish between a kerb or other high frequency FFB response but the job

It's definitely worth a shot. Emulators don't have presets for wheels, you just assign axles/buttons manually, so input will probably be supported. Biggest question is FFB, but i can't help you with this one, i never did any research about that.

Google GT4 rom, you'll probably find some site running it. Then go to the pcsx2 wiki and find the best settings for running it, set the emulator's settings to those and run it. Also get the appropriate PS2 bios and put that in the right place.
