I can see where you're coming from.
A C126 will never be the fastest thing out there. If I wanted comfort I could probably get a nicely used W220 for about the same as a C126 in good condition. If I wanted reliability and practicality then its a completely retarded car.
What I do like about it is the presence, the looks and the feel. Its a large car, but not large enough to be a "boat". I have a lot of ideas on what I'd do to it to make it truly "mine", like a slightly more powerful and more modern engine, refurbished/improved hydroactive suspenison, modern stereo and so on.
I can understand having a super/hyper car as your dream car, but to me personally they just don't hold appeal. I would never really be truly use its power, they sit too low for the roads we have, they are insanely expensive (yes, I know it says dream car, but I'd like owning mine at one point), extremely unpractical (I'd like to be able to drive cross country in mine, with friends and luggage) and so on
