I rebuilt the stock shifter when I had my integra, it was just a bunch of O-rings in the base of the shifter itself where it connects to the shift rod.
young and stupid me put those O-rings in there without grease and they shit the bed in 3 months and started rattling and feeling like shit. Ended up buying a skunk2 dual bend short shifter. Shit was retarded looking back at it now, but it was probably cool at the time.
Working at a dealer I hop in X car all the time, the ONE time it has a short shifter MFW.
