I have a 2006 Chrysler Sebring that is a massive pain in the ass just to change the spark plugs out off. I had to remove the intake manifold just to get enough access to remove the coil packs on the spark plugs and got almost all of them out except this last one. It's hitting the cowling and there's no room at all! Any advice on how to remove it?
And yes, I know how terrible the 2.7L engine is but I have no choice but to drive this car for now.
how easily does that cowling come off?
either that, or drop the motor a bit.
can you separate the boot from the coil pack itself? if so then you're gold.
pic related, my disgust for chrysler

I have to drop the entire motor just to remove a sparkplug?

I mean disconnect a mount, support the motor with a jack and a block of wood and see if you can drop it just enough to for clearance. But fuck, I've done transverse V6 plugs before, never had an issue like this.

The last plug on the driver's side of my wife's old Blazer was like that. You either had to drop the steering column, or try and use a deep well socket with a pair of locking pliers and come in from the top of the engine and hope you didn't fuck something up.

>Chrysler is bad meme

No luck, I just tried it and still not enough access. Bumping back up, anyone here have any experience with Sebrings?

I'm pretty sure the only people who disagree that FCA is shit are mopar fanboys.
Like anyone whose moderately informed realizes that chrysler is shit. It's completely surpassed memedom

The plastic cowling doesn't come off easily, or is it part of the chassis?
Fuck me man, Chrysler are utter cunts.
ITT:
The reason Chrysler is a bad meme.
Unreliable, hard to work on, utter shit cars with designs that refuse to innovate and age terribly.
Why do people buy these cars?
Inb4 cheap.
Yes, they are cheap in every sense of the word.
