I drove a 97 4cly and a 01 3l v6, the v6 was peppy, both very reliable cars, no trouble. The 97 got totaled, still dd the 01. If you're really tall 6'1"+ , then you won't have enough legroom. Turn radius a shit.

If you're going to buy a Galant, save up and get the VR-4. The automatics and AYC diffs tend to have issues, so just get a non-AYC manual.
