Anyone ever tried fitting one of those eBay turbo whistles in their air intake?
It's maximum ricer, but I took the sound deadening foam out of my air box today and love the induction noises. Plus my car is already turbo so it's justifiable.

I drive a turbo car, so yeah, I know, but maybe I'll have a bit of fun with it. Not like it cost anything.
It might actually sound ok sucking the air from the wheel arch, as air isn't rushing over it other than under acceleration.

I'm screwing it into the grid that used to hold the sound deadening foam, which sits before the 2 inch thick panel filter. It seems pretty safe to me.

While screwing it in, you fumbled and the screw or nut or part tumbled down the tube into the engine.... Now you have to tow it to dealer AND DISCONNECT THE BATTERY FIRST TO PREVENT THE CAR FROM ACCIDENTALLY STARTED BY DEALER STAFF TESTING THE CAR. Because they will and then blame the damage on you doing it before they got it.
I'm a little bit tempted to put this stupid thing on my FiST, but the sane person in me outweighs the ricer. It's a $65 adapter that goes under the bypass valve and turns it into an open air BOV.
