Rockauto is going to be your best bet. Should be about $200 and whatever for shipping. Your other options are patch it if possible or junkyard it. There are quite a few compatible Fords you can pull parts from. If you patch it for fucks sake pressure test that bitch long and hard, and even then keep your fingers crossed. I got lucky.

There is a 1966 chevelle near me that I want.
Dude's asking $4,500 and I have it, but I was just given a truck by my father, and there are issues with the car.
The issues are mostly comfort and cosmetic - the interior is trashed (looks like someone ripped it out), the front suspension needs Jeebus, the body has random dings, and the paint is half done.
All in all, to get it fixed (short of dings and paint) I would be set back $2,000-3,000
Should I get it and grow my fleet/ flip it?

The powerglide transmission SUCKS. They are some of the most soul-crushing automatics ever made; if you can live with that, they ARE robust.
Interior work is costly; to get that nice, you're looking at $4k to $5k, but that can be done slowly.
If you're proficient in mechanical work, expect about $1,500.00 in suspension/steering work. All signs pointed to an idiot owning this car who tried to live out his boy racer fantasies. Every bit of rubber in the suspension and steering will have to be replaced, as well as the joints; anticipate servicing the rear end and replacing all the body mounts as well.
If you can work on it yourself, don't mind a non-stock restoration, you MIGHT be able to get it done for close to $4k. If you will have to pay someone to do it, expect to spend close to $15k to have it restored and made reliable; BEFORE paint and body work.

I was doing bodywork the other day and spotted a bubble in the paint behind the back wheel on the driver's side quarter panel, the usual rust spots. I went to check the other quarter on the passenger side to see if there was any damage there and it was spotless, came back and realized that the body lines didn't even match.
The bottom of the quarter is supposed to taper inwards but it was just perfectly round, I started to think that my quarter panel was literally swiss cheese underneath the quarter inch of bondo (which was soft as fuck) and it wasn't, just clean sheetmetal. I started working towards the wheel well and I realized that they actually fucking welded in a fender lip where it WOULD be and it stuck out about a half inch, that sheet metal that I found was just a patch panel the PO made up and zeus'd on there.
I think they just used the chrome trim that goes around the wheel well, mocked up some sheet metal with it and welded it in place and filled in that xbox heug gap with bondo.

That's exactly it. It's a D30 front with locking hubs and D44 rear. It's also already got an SOA conversion, and even an aftermarket 24gal fuel tank. The tires (35's) have less than 50 miles on them and have never seen dirt.
It comes with a cage too, so I'll take the hardtop off in the summer and make a bikini top for it. I'm going for a rig like pic related.

If it is Quadratrac equipped it should have a BW 13-39 TC I believe. Most of them had AMC20 rears, with a different offset on the pumpkin.

All I really need to do to run it is bolt in some bucket seats and put fuel in it. It has some pretty ghetto wiring to fix too.

Read the thread and I would say overbore but do not stroke it. You already are dealing with a 3.58" stroke and for what you are spending to have the block clearanced and buying a stroker crank, you could have a 400 and make a ton more power. If you stick with the 360, get a good set of aluminum heads with a runner capacity of 170-200 cc or you will lose all kinds of power. On every LA I've touched, a good set of headers, full exhaust, a mid rise intake, and a solid new or rebuilt 600cfm 4bbl will jump you about 50 horses, more on a smogged block.
What are your power goals and the purpose of the car? Street with light strip use? Road warrior with a mild cam? Full potato?

Mostly just a weekend warrior. Streets here are mint and fun to drive on, but even a de-smogged 360 lacks power in my heavy Cordoba. I already have headers, an intake and carb in my shopping cart and I'm looking into cheap ways to make a little more power than just that. Shooting for 450 or so HP. Anything more is just going to overpower the car's handling if I don't invest in serious upgrades.

And I remember you from previous threads. A 360 build for 450hp, depending on where you want the power, will require a new flexplate and torque converter which is accessible when you pull the engine. Go for somewhere between a 2300-2800 stall, anymore than that and you will feel the lag in a very apparent manner. My suggestions:
Indy 360-1 63cc Heads with 180CC runners
Edelbrock Performer RPM 360 intake
Carter AVS (Edelbrock) 600cfm carb (vacuum secondaries are easier on a street car, I like mechanical secondaries)
Heddman longtube headers
KB .040 over pistons
Eagle rods
Crane hyd roller somewhere in the .500-.540 lift with a 108-110 lobe separation and a decently long duration.
I'd also recommend full main and head studs and ARP rod bolts for added durability, though at 450 hp the main studs are overkill.

Depends on if everything else is equal. All else remaining the same and just stroking it maybe 10-15% gain max. But that's like saying just a carburetor swap what'll it do? Very little even with a manifold swap you may pick up 20hp due to head flow limits on smog LAs. If you do it as a full build, you will get to your number, but build around your displacement and headflow numbers not off what a site says a cam can make. I CAN make 700hp NA if I run 12:1 compression with a huge cam, but its pointless as the rest of the engine would have to be built around that power goal and would reduce my reliability and street use and the block, heads, carb, etc would have to compliment it in a way that's streetable.

This is why I really only planned on buying the bolt ons like intake, carb and exhaust for now. Relatively easy and not too overwhelming for a moron like me.
Engines are rather complicated and I just started learning about building them.
The only major thing I ever did to an engine thus far is install an exhaust system on my 50cc bike and tune the carb for the exhaust.
I should have gotten into automotive mechanics instead of general mechanics.

As for your bolt ons, heads are easy enough to swap so if you have the cash, they will be a worthwhile upgrade just for the increased flow even if you don't do a rotating assembly and cam. Switching from 1.5 to 1.6 ratio rockers will give you a power bump as well as it increases lift by leverage as opposed to taller lobes and will be available on those Indy heads. Too bad you don't have an RB as the performance bits can be had for about 1/2-2/3 the price of an LA part from one specialty shop that only deals in 400s and 440s. Either way, aluminum heads are never a bad upgrade and can be reused as long as they aren't corroded terribly or warped (Indy heads are coated against the corrosion btw). What sort of a power band do you want and how far down a tach do you want it to rev to reliably?

I'm interested in a car, but I'm not too sure on whether or not I should get rid of my Cadillac for it. It's a 1969 Lincoln Continental with 60k miles; currently not running, but the seller claims it needs only a new battery, some fresh gas, and the brakes redone to be road ready.
He wants close to $5k or it, but '69 is my least favorite of these Continentals. Plus, if I buy it, I'd have to forego my search for an Imperial.

I'm in Dayton, Ohio. Needs new brakes and brake lines, new fuel lines, interior needs some work, electronics need some work (previous boomer owner had a fucking ham radio nigger rigged up to it or some shit), needs to be de-rusted, but from the photos that I have posted here no one said the rust was terminal (yet) or too bad.
I'd say that it pretty much needs a ground up restoration, but to get it on the road you'd need brakes, new fuel/oil/coolant, battery (or maybe just a jump), and that should be it. i've driven the thing before when i first got it and it seemed to be okay, but i honestly can't say HOW okay it is; i haven't had the engine or transmission apart. the transmission definitely seemed to hate it's life but maybe it just needs new fluid too, actually.
i paid $3,000 for it. the owner is the son of the original owner. the guy drove it all through high school and college, then his dad took ownership of it again and used it until he died, then it sat outside under a car cover for like 4-5 years. it sits in a garage right now and has since i bought it like 3 years ago. the plan of course was to fix it but like 2 months after i bought it i lost my house and my job and while i'm doing way better right now, i can't yet swing the costs to fix it up.
i will dump some pictures of it so you can all laugh at me because i genuinely deserve it.

It's not in bad shape at all; I see what looks like a little patch work needed on the frame rails, but it's in comparable shape to the Cadillac that I'm daily driving; your car is actually nicer inside.

That's a great storage facility.
First When you can, change all the fluids and get the car to run off of a 5-gallon fuel can. After that, replace the tank and fuel lines, then fix the brakes. Once you get the car running and driving again, it acts as its own motivation to keep you on track.
This is a video of me bypassing the tank on a car that I was working on; the engine was locked up like a rock and, after I got it running, I used the gas can in lieu of a tank to keep the car running while I tended to the brakes and diagnosed that horrible valve noise.

If the pictures are recent that's not bad at all anon. Hell, the Fury was worse than that once I started doing panel work and had 0 paint on it. If it reall just need fuel lines, a tank, brake lines, etc (general 50 year old maintenance shit) I wouldn't sell it for under what Dracula said. It's above and beyond most vehicles in the rust belt from my experience and looks like it had been under coated at some point. I'd swap wheels, fix the lines, new fluids and drive the bitch. It's clean as shit on the inside and if the top isn't rotted and torn, that's easily sell for 3500-5000 as it sits if it turns over where I live in the STL metro.

The inside is pretty clean, but the radio is fucked and the driver's side door insert.. cover.. thing... is floppy. That wouldn't be hard to fix, but all of the leather is actually in pretty good condition. The top has some holes in it, but they aren't giant. The worst part is behind the rear seats where the top folds into.

If you are comfortable with working on the electrical, that's a great place to start and, apart from mice, not one that's going to degrade from sitting.
Do what you can, bit by bit, and look for used parts on Craigslist or in junk yards to try to keep prices down.
The undercoating has me a little concerned about frame rust; as I've seen some where it did more harm than good, but the body looks great.

Hood is adjustable due to manufacturing variances. The door sagging is weak metal or a bad hinge. You can most likely use spacers to help lift it up a tad. Idk what you are talking about the windows not lining up with the hood unless you mean the windshield.

If the windows are manual (and some primitive power options) there is an adjustment to the lift mechanism inside the door to raise it up and down. The drivers window on the Plymouth would drop into the door and barely go full height. 2 bolts and a bit of tapping later and it fully seals and no more window drop.
