Pontiac Fiero 2+2 concept
When customers complained about the normal 2 seater Fiero being a bit impractical (no really?), Pontiac thought about releasing this hideous 2+2 variant with a back seat... I'm glad they didn't.

At least it's around now. Hopefully they rebuild the others as well. Would be really amazing to have them all around.

That 4000 RPM is obviously a typo. It's completely unrealistic without a turbo and it doesn't add up with the torque number.

Dodge Charger 2000

>>15009529
Actually, Mercedes didn't like the idea of using a FF platform to build an FR car. That's what killed it.
It was going to debut using a RWD variant of the LH platform, which was designed from the start to accommodate RWD (which is why the engines are longitudinally mounted instead of transverse).
Mercedes made them redesign the entire platform from scratch using off-the-shelf Mercedes parts, which is what became the 2005-2010 Charger.
>>15009505
Some of the prototypes were pretty wild.
Probably one of my favorite concepts due to the fact that it was actually quite nicely done and would've been well ahead of its time.
The 2006 Connaught Type D GT
>300HP 2.0L DOHC Supercharged V10
>Hybrid system similar to KERS, used supercapacitors instead of regular batteries
>Aluminium body on steel space frame: 2094 lbs / 950 kg
>5 speed manual for driving feels
>full emphasis on sports car characteristics in spite of being an early hybrid
>looks pretty damn nice for a mid 2000s car
I really wish they'd chosen to go with something like an inline 4 or a V6 for the engine, though - from what I've read they shot themselves in the foot trying to get such a small displacement V10 to meet all their requirements.
