there is pride to be had in letting a car fall apart but keeping it just functional enough to get by? I'm not trying to bash, I'm from the rez myself, but I never thought of this as a car subculture... more of just... necessity due to lack of alternatives. especially when you live in the rust belt. I dont think I've heard anyone say they want a rez car, referring to your pic, and was serious.
