What you guys think about the new TVR?
>>15001792
Is there any info aside from Cosworth engine?
I'm excited for what they unveil but I don't know anything yet.

Gordon Murray is involved and theyll get a carbon fibre chassis. Supposedly all of 2017s production is already sold.
Im scared they'll lose the good 'ol TVR spirit.

ang on, TVR is back again again?
Still like it tho

At least they were surprised by the output of the V8 they're developing with Cosworth.
More torque than expected.

Soon.

Some Asian, this time, I think.

>Some Asian
Woops, I'm wrong. "British corporation collective" under management of Les Edgar.
>>15004228
Thats good news at all but I want the fricking pearlscent paintjobs, fuckitall styling, race-car sound and maybe even that legendary "reliability" (although a ford engine with cosworth parts is more likely to find parts than the batshit old i6).
Youve seen those pics of the old TVR factory? The womin, the pranks, swearing scribbled on the walls? I want a car built by those assholes.
>>15004228
where are they being built?
I live super close to Blackpool and I've heard nothing
>>15004385
Wales. No production halls being built yet. Press releases speak of South-Wales. They're planning to probably build a test track as well.
>>15004389
In Ebbw Vale, to narrow it down further. The test track will be the Circuit of Wales. I wish they'd hurry up and build the fucking place though
>>15004389
Shame it's not in Blackpool, but at least it's still in the UK
>>15001792
I'd be amazed if they are ready for 2017, that's 2 or 3 times quicker than anyone else can get an all new car to market, and they've got nothing done yet

I loved the semi-racing engines , hand crafted interiors , with a complete lack of insulation, and exotic looks, pretty much a top notch kit car.
Something like this won't come back, ever. But Brits are crazy enough to use any step out of the regulations they can. After all, this thing (pic) and even a P1 GTR are, seemingly, easily street legal.
Dem Brits...gotta love them.

Design isn't unique enough
