Because of the engine and other components. Just look at the Tesla. The model 3 has mods space than an Avalon. Also I'd rather not drive something small like a corolla. It's more comfy having a big car for your friends.

About 2 on a daily basis plinking, with another 3-4 being cleaned.
Going to a formal range instead of plinking on my back porch will make it about 6-9 hours depending on how many guns I bring out.
