sort of related post

i want a 351w swapped new edge mustang, so i dont care if the engine is running, however i've read online that the v8 drivetrain is stronger than the v6 one, is this true? should i do the swap in a v8 car instead of a v6 then?

pls respond

G35 Sedan/Coupe

280hp, RWD/AWD (AWD great for inexperienced drivers)

Can be had for 5k-7k

Leather seats

Reliable.

BIG aftermarket (not as big as the Mustangs but still good).

great exhaust sound.
>>
>>14989535
those are like 10k in Canada for an LS1.

The 70s mustang is the literal definition of pigfat, and there is the stigma about them breaking down because of that Top Gear special.
>>
>>14989558
yes

Obviously the V8 car has a stronger drivetrain, its designed to handle more torque

You know nothing, dont even do the swap. Go stance a 240sx or something.

You should do the swap to a v8 because swapping a v6 to a v8 also requires a new wiring harness bumper to bumper and other supporting mods. But based on the question I do not think you have the ability to do an engine swap.

Ford also made 4.6L and 5.4L engines that made over 100hp more than the 2V in the GT. The GT was a mid-market model, and unlike GM sticking the same engine in the Z28 and SS the Cobra got the better 4V heads.
