To lease anything like what i drive i'd literally pay more over the life of the lease than i paid to buy my car outright.
So yeah, even with what i anticipate this repair bill to be, i'm still saving money and will have use of my car a lot more than three years.

I offered to help a tow guy put and strap my motorcycle down on his flat bed. He said "nah bud, I got it," strapped it down poorly, started to drive and then it promptly fell over. I was following in my car. I've never been so fucking mad or horrified in my life.
