Lets talk tires
I wanted to get a set of tires for my 01 Mustang GT. Something I can daily drive, auto-x, and would be good with rain. Looking for something in the 300 treadwear area. I don't need all seasons, or anything related to snow as it doesn't snow much here. I just need to handle rain during daily driving.

I had a similar set of requirements and ended up buying Potenza S-04 Pole Positions. Very good all-around tire.
I had P-Zeros previously and they were sketchy as fuck in the rain. Not fond of how they handle either - it's grip, grip, grip slip whereas the S-04s are very progressive. You can feel what's going on and catch it early.

are these engines easy to wring more power out of? what are some basic bolt ons for the modular and how much power do they add? the GT made like 260 hp right?

Eh not really. Tons of aftermarket. Bolt ons will only be able to get you do about 300bhp NA
Supercharged you can push up to 400rwhp.
