I have a boner for louvers. I got an 83 Capri and a 90 gt title less shells for painting a friends truck, I parted most of the stuff out but I kept the bubble hatch and gt's kit for future foxes.

guys i just bought a 89 lx as my first car the car ran perfectly when i bought it.
i decided to change my spark plug wires /distributor cap and rotor now the car wont start it will still crank and lights turn on and all that so i know there is nothing wrong with the battery
it just wont start fully.
any ideas ?

Did you connect the distributor cap to the spark plugs in the right firing order? Also take out every plug and check if it sparks when you turn the key.

Unplug all the wires, move them around to different cylinders, then plug them back in. See if it fires. Keep doing that until it runs.
Really though, look up a diagram for your motor and make sure everything is plugged in the right way.
Also make sure your cap is on all the way and everything is connected. But also make sure things that are supposed to be not connected aren't connected.
Found out one day that what I thought was a tach lead for the dist just grounded it out and prevented the car from starting. That was fun.

My friend from work had a really super clean amazing looking foxbody. I was mad jealous. He gave it to a shop and has had them doing tons of work on it. It had an engine swap and supercharger added he said it makes 550hp now and got the entire suspension redone and differential to take the power too. Which all sounds good but then he told me he was getting it it painted and a new spoiler on it and it needed a new hood to fit everything. That all makes me sad because I thought it looked absolutely perfect before. Sounds pretty awesome though. I haven't seen it yet but I think it might look ugly now =(
