Hard top too, nice. Really want to pick up a little Z3 for DD duty. Figure that plus the Z4M is a perfect combo. Gotta love summer, bike season and riding around with the top down without heated seats and heater running full blast. Don't get any better.

for me winter until early summer is topdown time, because after the middle of may or so, the sun's too rough to be with the top down. :(
i daily my z3, and it's great. being used to the interior quality of the Z4 though, you might not like the interior of the Z3. It's not really up to BMW standards. It has leather and all, but it feels like entry level e36 compared to most bmw's.
I will say though, the doors give a much nicer thump when you close them compared to the Z4s, which feel lighter and cheaper.

Same here, soon mid day it will be over 100 and too hot for top down, night time in the summer tho is just amazing. I had a friend with a Z3 M Roadster, and even that felt a little subpar to even my e36 interior wise. A lot of cracked plastics, BMW definitely went cheap. But as always tiny cars are best cars, and BMW is always the best.

Seriously considered buying one of these, shame the interiors are meh. If BMW doesn't make a decent new Z4, and an M at that, I might wind up with a 981 Boxster S in a few years.

Yep, the interiors weren't the best, or the panel gaps.
but keep in mind Z3's were the first bmw's to be ever assembled in the US in the new factory in SC, so i can't shame them for fucking it up early on. Car still looks fantastic.
I wish i would've found an M roady, but they're really rare here. Until i can afford to import a clownshoe, I'll be enjoying myself with this one, 2 years later and I'm still as happy as i was when i bought it.
One day, I'll own both the roady and the clownshoe, atleast one with the S54. That's my goal for the next 5 years.

So worth it, best engine BMW ever made. It is a beast in the e46 M, even better in the Z4, and I imagine superb in the Z3.

have you considered getting an aftermarket strut brace? I'm pretty sure i've seen ones for the Z4 that not only go to the firewall, but cross horizontally, which would make the car a little sturdier.

Would love to take credit for the cleanliness but that is the dealer photo lol. But she is sitting outside with leatherique rejuvinator soaking into the seats and is getting fully detailed tomorrow since I wasn't impressed with the wax after washing it today. Try to keep her clean but I beat on this car hard, its just too fast and fun not too, especially as my only DD atm.

desu this car is so stiff already it is crazy, both the body and suspension. Ride is super rough, but in a good way if that is your thing, passengers usually hate it tho. 100% stock, probably just going to put new wheels/tires on it and a catback and call it good. The car is about everything I could ever ask for.

I'm trying to get my Z3 a strut brace, but its hard to get because there's different ones for each engine choice, and the only easy options is the strong strut which is like 400 dollars.

Yeah at $400 your money would be much better spent on good tires. My car has run flats that suck but they are very good at getting me used to controlling the car when sideways. Looking at the Michelin Pilot Super PS2 and some VMR wheels, but $$$$.
