High speed performance depends on appearance to some degree or jet planes wouldn't all look the same. That said, I'd rather drive an Opel Corsa B with a V12 than a Porsche with a threebanger.

While I enjoy speed (a LOT), a very fast vehicle is expensive, a pain in the ass, and can get you into a lot of trouble if you don't watch your right foot like a hawk.
I also just like the stylistic cues on vehicles, and enjoy them being shown off well. A classic look is appreciated.
