You need to finish reading posts before trying to be an asshole and making a fool out of yourself.
>>
get a throttle body restrictor just to learn how the bike feels so you dont kill yourself

inb4 mad /dbt/ poster calls me a faggot

1. You should've posted in /dbt/, you know, where the bike people hang out
2. If you're so retarded that you bought a liter bike when the only experience you've had is on a dirt bike then you're fuckin toast m8

I'm not the OP. You're being too much of an asshole, chill out.

Good luck anon, wear your gear and hope you have fun.

It's probably not the best decision you've ever made. Stock gearing will probably do 100mph in first, get there in 5 seconds, and flip the bike over forward if you don't brake properly.

I'd probably get some road experience with something less mental if possible. It's not so much about "respecting the power" as the bike punishing you when you do make a mistake.

I daily an R1 at the moment (been riding for a long time) and I power wheelied at 75mph by accident when I was tired a few months ago.

It's a lot more fun to ride a "slow" bike fast; then to ride a "fast" bike slow.

This: Trying to ride a thoroughbred sports bike on the road is an exercise in precise throttle control and tactical pant wetting when you hit blind crests/wet patches/cars/road furniture.

Slow(er) bikes are way more fun because you can ride them hard without dying.

Exactly this. If you can find the right road, any bike can be exciting to ride.

I'm willing to claim this post is bait.

It is.
