And then there's VAG group deliberately creating a cheating software for emissions and therefore fuel consumptions.
In this scenario: what company should fail?

the way the USA mandates fuel economy and emissions is a fucking joke and companies find legal and not so legal ways to work around them.
they should just raise the price of fuel. to increase demand for better fuel economy. while taxing your for your emissions directly. So your car can pollute but you have to pay for it. which also drives demand for cleaner cars.

Yup, we call them ASX over here. Sometimes someone orders a mirage, lancer or outlander rarely an L200 but im quite impressed by the sales of the outlander sport.

Mate, here in rural Scotland every other vehicle on the road is either an L200 or an Outlander. Shit I'd go as far to say that L200s outnumber Land Rovers these days. There's 3 Shogun Pinins for sale in my town alone, and my mate drives a Shogun Sport (Challenger), Mitsubishi is fucking everywhere here.

Where I live in the Netherlands I can't remember seeing an ASX outside of the dealership. Outlander PHEV's are everywhere, because the state decided to give them a huge tax break solely for the fact that it was a plugin hybrid, completely ignoring the fact that its electric only range is tiny.
