ok guys, car noob here. i drive a vw cc 2.0t, and i know they're marketed to have a turbo'd 2.0L v4, but i literally cannot find the turbo in here. can someone help me out?

On VW's, that's actually only the compressor side of the tarbo. The hot side is lower on the engine, and that drives the belt which is connected to the compressor that you can see in the pic.
