wooden handles are better, 1 good miss with a frp handle and it's split city. I live in Alaska and use a wood stove every year. you can overshoot and hit the handle on the log, especially if you aren't good

I loved my old husky but the new ones have nylon chain oiler gears that strip out in the cold letting the chain dry and burning up the the bar. my STIHL is still going stronk with countless hours and a field fix 550 cord and stick pullrope.
I fixed the newer one once and it happened the very next winter.
Have one of their chainsaws. It's breddy gud
