All I do anymore is ride.
I get home from work, put my helmet and my jacket on, change my boots, put on an album, and ride. Come back home, eat, go back out until I'm tired. Go to sleep, wake up, go to work, and repeat. Been like this for a couple weeks.
It feels weird. It doesn't feel wrong. I just look around and it's odd to see that this is how my life has turned out. I'm sad and I don't even know why anymore.

The key is to keep smooth on the throttle, use mostly back brake in looser dirt/gravel, and don't be too "tight" with the bars. On bikes, the right tires help, but you can go on dirt just fine on street tires as long as you don't get hektik.
There's a lot of hidden beauty in the state once you get off the highways. On pic related trip, I wish I had brought the DR (hadn't bought it yet) or my truck. Still, the Miata handled it OK but I'm missing a lot of undercoating now.

Helmet speakers, and earplugs. The earplugs are already good at not killing your ears with wind noise and such, but combine them with helmets speakers and it helps stop the high treble from killing your ears, and makes the speakers sound better.
