just fuck my shit up
Still looks fixable.
Also, why the fuck is a connector all in the open and not shielded against water
>>14884284
yeah i know but it pissed me off, bought the car last summer without inspecting too much and saw this when changing the spark plugs friday.
i dont know how much it will cost me to get it cut and then well a thick plate over the hole.

Spray some fish-o-lene up there to stop it getting any worse and don't ever tell anyone about it. Nobody needs to know.
If your state/country has inspections, chip the excess off with a screwdriver, put some masking tape over it and spray paint it silver again. Throw a handfull if dirt at it to make it look aged

but I know, thats the problem, also it might be dangerous
its pretty bad
Could be worse...
>>14884687
is..that the frame?
>>14884716
More like was the frame. Entire yruck is in this shape. 03 Isuzu Rodeo
>>14885024
i hope you dont drive that
>>14885024
Jesus was it parked in the ocean?
>>14885087
Well... Here's the thing. It belongs to my friend. He took it in to get a safety recall done (frame rot somewhere will make it unstable or something). Isuzu refuses to pay to do the work, and the shop won't declare it unfit to drive, so hes stuck driving it.
>>14885094
Nope haha. Midwest salt and just the fact its normal for these things. Pathfinders and the old Honda ones are just as bad.

00 Crown Victoria
Driven by an old fart who let it sit on a lawn and drove it once a week to church
That bolt is what holds the body to the frame.

These pictures scare the shit out of me. My work car is a 2001 and I'm sure it has some creeping rust somewhere. How bad?...that's up in the air.
>>14886232
>parking on the lawn
Why do people do this when they have driveways and garages/car ports?
>this thread
>>14884266
I'm not even sure what I'm looking at
Why the fuck don't people have their undercarriage winterized. God damn it's not even that expensive.
>>14888216
Rusted out base of a shock tower. The rusty color is just above the front subframe and the darker area towards the bottom of the picture is the K member. The silver item at top, foreground, is the master cylinder
>>14888239
Same reason people drive on shite tires and worn out brakes
Anyone have the one with the piece of 2x4 holding up the frame?
>tfw Mazda
pulled my carpets out because of houston flooding. found a rust hole that goes straight through the floor board.
