Need some advice /o/,
I'm trading my 2008 Lancer online (Canada), and a guy offered me this 2004 Mustang GT.
I like the car, and it's worth slightly more than mine.
But the guy is being a bit sketchy, wants car gone within next 5 days as he is going on vacation, and the car has a temporary sticker. (Meaning it was not safetied)
He has, however, agreed to have my personal mechanic look at it and test drive it. My mechanic will also tell me what it will need to pass our safety inspection and give me his personal recommendation.
Car is american originally, 47000 miles.
Does this seem reasonable or should I just forget about it because I don't want someone else's problem.
TL;DR Sketchy seller, I have possible solution?
I should also mention car has an adjustable tune, coilovers, borla exhaust.
Have your mechanic check it out, if it's not too bad then do it if you like the car?

I have one, they're pretty reliable, haven't had any issues and i dont think their known for anything. If you trust your mechanic that should work out fine.

It looks like a clean car, I like the cowl hood and cobra r bumper.
The mechanic should tell you if it has bad syncros, or ticking valves, etc. It might be legit since he agreed to let one look at it.
I have owned 6 mustangs, 5 of them mod motors. they were all piles of garbage. id pass.
