Need help determining the year. I think it's 96-98
BMW 325i
form of side indicators on the quarterpanel suggests 90-95
>>14875472
Thinner bezeled kidneys and matte moldings suggest earlier E36, probably between 92 and 94
thin kidney outlines suggest 90-95.
sure thing.
>>14875479
I think the very first E36 years didn't get side indicators at all in the US, so probably closer to the high end of that range.

Engine has 60k miles (Though I realize that other parts are much older than 60k)
Fresh paint job
Interior in good condition
You guys think $2k is a good price?
if engine runs smooth, no vanos-rattle, no rod-bearing rattle, stable idling on open oil-lid, handling is tight the it sounds okay. otherwise... well - nobody is going to argue, that his is not an old car. you pretty much see what u get.
>>14875772
VANOS rattle isn't much to worry about.
Anything else, yeah. Don't buy it.
If you're capable of wrenching by yourself and it's not an automatic, then go for it senpai.

these two are right, both things indicates it is pre facelift
>>14876055
The 325i was produced from 1990-1995, there was only the 323i and 328i after that
>>14876545
I can't believe we all missed this, kek. We're all looking at the kidneys and side indicators to determine its age when the very model of car already determines it.
Confirmed 1995 if anyone is wondering
Thanks for the help

That thing is covered in Plastidip.
But yes it is an OBD-I.
>>14879256
>325s were only made 1992-1995 in the US
>kindney grills and surround confirm it is a pre-facelift -1996
>no rear headrests preclude 1998 or 1999 US models
>sidemarkers are early models, not sure years
>>14876222
>dash looks to be of a 1996 or maybe 1997+
>No side airbags
Is this not a US car?
>>14879371
>>14879235
Actually I am 100% certain this is not a 1995 US car. The dash and steering wheel are not right. Either the seller is wrong, this is a foreign model, or very bad things happened to this poor car
>>14879378
>>14879235
Yeah if this is a US car it is a 1996 328i. There is no other possibility. OP, if you are American stay away.
>>14879378
1995 on insurance and tags
I'll see about crash history etc.

Satin black paint
Would definitely remove the plasti dip from the wheels because stainless steel would look so much nicer

I'm having one of my buddies who specializes in BMWs do a full in and out inspection because obviously I know nothing about foreign cars.
