I found a 1990 CRX with an 89 integra engine and tranny swap.
The shell has 300k on it, the owner doesn't know the mileage on the engine.
He's asking $1,000 and the body is immaculate.
Should I buy it? I drive a hand-me-down SUV that gets literally 8mpg and I need a commuter to go to school.
I have always wanted a crx but I'm nervous about this one's mileage, and I have very little spare money to get something nicer.

Its covered in dents, and its probably worse IRL because half of the pics were taken at night so you can barely see it. I wouldn't buy a 30 yr old car with an engine and tranny swap as a DD, you don't know if the swap was done right and it'll be harder to diagnose any problems you do have.
