It was used, it was only a year old with less than 2000 miles on it. Dude gave it up (had to buy a family truckster). I backed down because of the massive maintenance upkeep known to plague those cars.

A two year old mercedes is not gonna have alot of problems yet. The previous owner must have been somebody with a good job and not some boyracer, since its a fairly new and still a pricey car.

i should clarify. Reliabilty wise the 221 was a great improvement over the 220 but not near 126 or 140.
