Scion is such a failure. I commend them on wanting drivers to personalize the cars but they did it all wrong. Should have offered the TRD superchargers on these things.
Not to mention their lineup is laughable just like Mitsu.

They get poor mpg for their performance. Having a slow car isn't bad, but one that gets bad mpg, what's the point?

For the amount of torque they provide it's not too bad. I regularly get 26-28 MPG with Eco mode on. It hurts the responsiveness a little but if you need the power it's there.

It's not a fucking Camry coupe or Corolla it's a replacement for the fucking Celica, hence the t"C". Toyota couldn't get the XC because of Volvo's trademark.
As a replacement for the Celica it's a decent car, it's just too heavy because of fucking safety requirements. I'm selling mine to go back to a Celica GT-S.

Downsides are that you're going to buy a discontinued car, which means you'll have a hard time getting a good price when you want to sell.
It also doesn't get impressive gas mileage, despite having specs leaning closer toward economy car than performance. 29 mpg isn't anything to write home about these days.
It also looks really angry and stupid. Uglier than an ND miata.
The plus sides are that it's super cheap, the glass roof is kind of cool, and the engine is pretty reliable for the most part. But you would be buying mid-2000s tech for a 2016 price, not really worth it imo.
