I bought a piece of shit and I love it, come truck brethren. Speak with me about all things truck
1989 4X4 5speed manuèl with 150K miles for 1200 USD, good ol South Carolina with them cheap mexitrucks. 31 (like 30.9 or something) inch tires on stock everything but the wheels I'm pretty sure.
No one else wants to truck talk today?

Your pickup is beautiful. I have a '91 pickup myself but she's only 2x4 and like 290k km.
>>14869395
Got myself a muzder pickup.
Honestly miss my yota though

Ute*
Bought this a few weeks ago for nz $2200 it's a 2.6 petrol 5 speed 4x4 on 31" tyres with a big aussie-style alloy deck on it. Pretty happy with it

Then got it stuck in a river 4 days later. Might look in to fitting a winch to it one day
>>14870475
Typical Mitsubishi
Had my 94 Hardbody for about 7 months now, really love it. Took it up to Glendora Ridge Road today and had forgotten how beautiful it is up there.
Great condition and only 120k miles on it too.
>clutch slave cylinder goes bad while im at school
>tfw i have to spend ~$900 to fix it since im 500 miles from my tools/garage

>tfw i have to spend ~$900 to fix it
$900 for a clutch slave cylinder reapir, da fuk?
>>14870781
thanks to ford engineering you have to remove the entire trans to get to the slave cylinder. It also doubles as the throw-out bearing, adding to the cost of the part
>>14870823
Most hydraulically actuated clutches require you to at least drop the trans, since they are inside the bell end.
The way you prevent this is by doing fluid flushes like you are supposed to.
Old hydraulic fluid loves to eat rubber.
Same thing with brakes.
>>14870879
yea, I guess I was just spoiled by my forester with an external slave cylinder.
>>14870118
>>14870513
looks clean anons
>>14870667
glad mine is external
>>14869395
looks like a decent basher, ditch those anchors you got hanging off the sides before you go wheelin. 4cyl or v6?
my farm truck.
>>14870944
full desmog, big cam, long tube header, wideband o2 tuned weber 38/38 on a ported, gasket matched intake, hot ignition, 4.33 gears, locker, stock original longblock with around 260k miles on it now.
>sell S10
>didn't consider it a particularly great vehicle, solid but underwhelming
>buy 2 door coupe for better gas mileage
>miss my truck every day
She wasn't much, but she was a fucking trooper and I loved her. I'm sad now I miss my baby :( pic related a shit picture of when I hit a curb and blew my two right tires and my brehs jerked off all over her

Well. Since those bitches are pretty difficult to work on then they had to make it up else where.
Cleaned and detailed my '03 Tacoma today. Also put on my camper shell after having it off for a couple months, which felt good
>>14871029
Aw yisss, that looks like my 03
>>14871056
Currently building a stealthcamper.
Yeaterday i readjusted the campershell, waterproofed it, and built a frame/sleeping platform in the bed.
Eventually gonna build shelves, add carpetting and other odds and ends
>>14871079
Friggin' sweet. Keep up the good work.
>>14871079
I'm going to do one more storage container on the right hand side of mine
>>14869395
Lose that low hanging bitch-bar bro, otherwise sweet truck, I have the same wheels as my winter set on my 4Runner.
>>14871112
Doubles as a bench, and a step to get into the sleeping part
>>14869395
Not really a truck per say, but I have always wanted a Samurai after seeing them while living in Thailand. This one already has the 1.6 diesel swap. I would love to set up a way for it to carry a small 125cc stroke dirt bike. Thinking of selling my 01 civic for this, only other vehicle would be an FZ-07.

Nice.
Im planning on building some smaller shelves to cover the wheel wells and run down the length of the bed on either side.
Gonna keep the height level with where the bed meets the campershell.
The middle section will be where i sleep.
This is going to be my home during the week since im sick of commuting to work.
Ill prob be done in 2-3 weeks depending on how motivated/lazy i am.

How is that flip pack flip top or whatever it is called. I just heard about it through the mx2 ranger exploration and he said it was pretty shit. Leaking in rain, something about the wind and some other shit
I work for a body shop, we have a POS 91 s10 we use as a scrap metal hauler and shop truck and the like.
It's comical how abusive I am to it if I'm the guy driving ot it, surprised I haven't broken a wheel off judging by the front suspension being completely fucked and the ball joint on one side just kinda hanging there.
Also funny how easy it is get the rear to spin, then again the tires probably needed replacing 20k miles ago.
It's weirdly grown on me, might use shop money and shine the turd up and maybe put a cam in it or something stupid
I hear ya OP. Owning a shitbox truck is kickass
>truck has scratches, dents, missing paint and rust everywhere
>literally don't care if someone door dings me, or keys me, or dents it in anyway
it's awesome
>>14871347
Even 4 cylinder trucks can be fun to hoon around in.
>friend has 87 Dakota 2wd
>takes 20 years to hit 65mph on the freeway
>can spin the tires from a deadstop no problem
>>14869395
My new project 93 4x4 4cyl 5spd
>>14870879
You are inside the bell end, cunt.
>>14869395
>my brehs jerked off all over her
what the fuck?
My pos 85 720. Rebuilt the motor, getting ready to bob the bed and sas it.
Git R Done.
>>14872587
I sure am gonna miss the old girl when i sell it.
>>14870499
One of the 2 toyotas that pulled me out got stuck in the same spot, and he had 33" muddies on so I don't feel too bad about getting stick on 31" A/Ts
