Why are there no RWD cars that can get decent gas mileage? Even smaller 4 cylinder engines can't get more than 30mpg, is it an inherent flaw in RWD design?
More places for power loss, grow a pair and go v8, turbo 6 if you can afford it

Because most RWD cars are performance oriented, not fuel economy oriented. That said, I can get 33 mpg on the highway in my IS350 no problem. I would expect other cars like the 335i/340i to get similar numbers too.

New miats get 32 mpg average
